Driving

We are currently driving down to coos bay for memorial weekend and I figured in my boredom i could create a blog post.  At least I'm trying right?  This week was pretty hectic but we managed to leave town around 1, unfortunately the weather and traffic were against us, its currently 9 and we still have 2 hours to go.  but things are looking brighter, the rain stopped at least :)

So its been a  month at T-mobile and so far i am loving my job. Every day is something new and its always challenging and fun. Its also very flexible and I love the overall culture there.

Its also been 7 months in our apartment and although we're not really happy there I think we will end up staying there another year or so.  You can't beat the location and the savings is pretty good too. That and we really don't want to move again.  This will allow us to save for a new house and even hopefully a baby as well.

Alrighty, back to keeping jeremy company, will write again soon.

Time Fly's!

Wow, its been a long time since I've posted here, that is just crazy! Its been a pretty busy last couple of months. Lets recap:

November: We moved back to Bellevue after the Condo finally closed.

December: We took a week vacation and went to St. Maarten in the Caribbean.

January: Jeremy started school at Bellevue College. He is going back to get an AA in Game Design and is really enjoying it.

March: I went to New Orleans with my parents for my Cousin Corrie's wedding. I accepted a new job at T-Mobile and resigned my position at Murray Franklyn.

April: After my job ended Jeremy and I took a trip to New York to visit our friends Jason & Masha. I started at T-Mobile when we got back.

And now its May….

I'm going to try to keep this up to date a little more, they may be short texts or longer blogs, we will see how this works. We plan on going to Coos Bay here next week for Memorial Day weekend. Kristina is 8 months pregnant now so it will be great to see her before she has the baby!

More to come later J

Moving Update

We are officially moving November 5th. We found an apartment in Bellevue that fits in our budget well and gives us enough room to store all our crap - because we have way to much of it! We started packing this week and wow do we have a long way to go.

We hired movers this time so I didn't have to bother my family once again. Plus it will be so much easier and in less than 4 hours everything will just be moved! I will be going to work in the morning and when I’m done...I’ll be going home to my new apartment! How cool is that? Jeremy's going to handle everything, he's been working so hard to get stuff done at the house it’s been a real lifesaver :).

Although we are moving from our “home” to an apartment, I’m excited to be close to everything again. Its also only 5 minutes from my work, so my commute will be EASY!!! :) I can't wait to have a short commute again...this 45 minute commute everyday is exhausting! We’ll be right off both 405 and 520, and only about 5 minutes or so to the Tech City Bowl! So break out your bowling shoes people we’re going to become bowling fools! Yes, as my girlfriend said, I’m really dating myself now lol. But Hey…bowling comes with beer remember? :P

Goodbye Snoqualmie! SOLD!!!

Man its been a while since i posted, things have just been a whirl wind lately.

Our house finally sold! We are so excited - closing is set for November 10th. We've already gone through the inspection and everything is good. Just waiting for appraisal now and then it looks like we are good to go. We met the buyers earlier this week and they are an adorable couple, so i'm super excited to be giving the house to them...they will love it!

I think we're going to start looking for a place this weekend. Since Jeremy is not working at the moment we are going to get an apartment for the time being. Bank any money we make off the house and save it for a downpayment on the next house, and save any other money we can while we are there. We'll be getting a place closer to Seattle. I'm very excited to once again be living within minutes to everything...and hopefully less than 20-30 minutes from my mom! yes, in my old age i actually think about how far i am away from my mom, i've come full circle i tell ya!

I'll update this once we find a place and with any other interesting news :)

The Fall Market Upswing

So it seems that the market is changing. We have had 5 people in the past week come through our place. We had one very lowball offer, which we countered and never heard anything back from. Apparently they then put a lowball offer in next door...do they think we don't talk to our neighbors?

I checked the market this morning though, and our house plus our neighbors are the lowest in the area, I believe its well priced and I guess if we're lucky we should expect some sort of sale this fall. Keep good thoughts flowing our direction :).

Houses in the area we want seem to be steady, so I'm keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to find a nice house when ours finally sells. I'm really hoping we can move prior to December so that when we leave on our December vacation it will be easier (easier to get rides to the airport, easier for people to come check on the cats, etc.) I'm really looking forward to decorating a new house! We went to Bed bath and beyond yesterday to get a gift for one of our many weddings this fall and I was looking at all the nice pictures and paintings, the couch I want for our new home was also on sale at Fred Meyer, I can't wait to start nesting again...in a permanent place! It was fun picking out the remodel of our bathroom 2 years ago, I can't wait to do that again...picking paint colors and other fun stuff to make our home ours, it will be so fun!

So if your reading, wish us good luck, we're going to need it :)
